Governance and Accountability

Every commitment documented, every change approved in writing.

AIMS scholarship commitments are documented through an authorised award process. Academic suitability, programme conditions, funding coverage, and continuation requirements are recorded before an award is activated.

Scholarship administration is divided across programme, academic, finance, and verification responsibilities. No staff member may create or expand a financial commitment through an informal message. Changes to an award must be approved and issued in writing.

Governance controls

  • documented candidate assessment;
  • conflict-of-interest declarations;
  • finance confirmation before an offer is issued;
  • unique award references;
  • annual or stage-based progress review;
  • written amendments for material changes;
  • restricted access to personal and financial records;
  • verification audit logs;
  • complaints and review process;
  • document retention and controlled disposal.
